You would think that since Manchester is such a large city that doing something so simple as hiring a skip to get rid of all your rubbish would be such an issue, but that is where you are wrong, apparently there are rules and regulations regarding skip hire in Manchester according to the local government. Depending on where you plan to have your skip you may need a permit even if you had the skip right outside your house where you usually park your car you would need a permit depending on the type of road you live on. I thought the government were all for recycling and proper waste disposing but clearly they just want another way to penalize us by issuing more tickets.
